A colorless glass apple, approximately 2.75" in diameter, with molded stem and leaf. Due to the tight curvature, etching areas are very restrictive. Accordingly, artwork should not include fine detail or text: the simpler and bolder the artwork, the better the etching result. If etching of detailed art is required, shifting the art to an optional etched base is highly recommended.

The rectangular Starfire crystal of the Claxton is mounted to a starfire base then finished with artistic curves of mirror to reflect brilliant light throughout the surface.
